Dixon graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His award-winning work beautifully captures the play of light over the New England landscape. He received the Marianne Carpenter Memorial Award at the 2006 Annual Exhibition of the Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society, juried by internationally recognized artist, Don Stone N.A. His artistic influences include the works of Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer, Fredrick Mulhaupt, and Aldro Hibbard. | ||||||||||||
