After attending Rochester Institute of Technology, Hartford Art School, and completing a BFA in Graphic Design and a Minor in Marketing Management at Central Connecticut State University, I decided to pursue a career in Painting.
Painting in the tradition of the plein air painters of Old Lyme and Rockport, I paint on location as much as possible. Painting en plein air; or painting out of doors, allows me the chance to capture a bit of the life in a fleeting moment. "Plein Air Painting is my chosen discipline. I love being out in the elements. Artistic affiliations include: Invited membership in Hudson Valley Art Association, Connecticut Academy of Fine Artists, Springfield Academic Artists Association, and New Haven Paint & Clay Club; including Elected or Exhibiting Artist Status at: Northshore, Rockport, Lyme, Mystic Art Associations, and Connecticut Plein Air Painters Society.
