Bob Noreika, is a prominent painter and illustrator whose paintings hang in both corporate and private collections throughout th United States, Europe and Japan. Noreika's passion for art is matched by a natural talent to paint a wide variety of subjects, highlighted by expressive coastal scenes, intimate woodland pictorials and seasonal treks through the countryside. He was featured in Artist's Magazine, April 1998, for his technical expertise. Bob is a member of the Connecticut Watercolor Society and the Salmagundi Club in New York City where his work consistently captures the eye of nationally known jurors. Just last year, Noreika was recognizes in several prestigious shows. He received a first award in the New England Watercolor Society's regional show at the Attleboro Museum; as well as awards at the Salmagundi Show in NYC and from the New Haven Paint and Clay Club. Bob recently was awarded Best in Show at the Kent Presidential Show and again at the Kent Fall Show, the Award for Oil/Acrylic. He also won first place in watercolor at the Glastonbury fall show. Bob has illustrated magazine editorials and seven books; the latest, Marsh Morning is now availablein book stores. Bob Noreika is represented in numerous galleries and he teaches and lectures throughout New England. |
