Impressionist Approach to Painting - Inside and Outside

Explore techniques in the tradition of the Impressionists using a painting knife or brush. Focus on learning to see, color relationships and other aspects of plein air painting. We will paint plein air if weather permits. On days when painting inside, you may bring your own photo or the instructor will provide one. Class starts with a demonstration

New Class starts April 18 on Thursdays from 1 - 4 pm and runs for 10 weeks.

Two Day Workshops Painting Outdoors

Learn how to meet the challenge of painting outdoors. Focus on learning to see, color relationships, getting your first color notes on your painting surface as quickly as possible. We will endeavor to do one painting in the morning, and one in the afternoon. There will be a lunch break and the class will start with a demonstration.. Oil and acrylic painters are welcome.
